This black-and-white photo postcard shows the Arab, Algerian, and Tunisian neighborhood of the Kermesse Orientale, or Oriental Village. One can see the typical architecture of the Oriental Villages that had become ubiquitous in all World's Fairs, with their minarets, grated windows, and rounded domes.
